PESHAWAR: The Special Police Unit claimed to have arrested four extortionists and recovered extortion money from their possession during a raid in Peshawar.
On a tip-off, the
police conducted a search operation in Peshawar and arrested a gang involved in extortion activities. The
police said that the gang was demanding Rs 0.5
million extortion from a person. A
ll the gang members ha
iled from Faisalabad. The
police recovered Rs0.365
million extortion money from the extortionists.
The
police have shifted the detainees to
police station for further investigation.
