he federal government, on Wednesday, appointed Mohammad Younus Dagha as Finance Se
cretary in a notification. It was said that the Federal Cabinet had been extended with the ap
pointment of the new Finance Se
cretary. Dagha has been serving as the Federal Se
cretary for Commerce and would assume his new office on March 22.
Born on April 23, 1962, the new se
cretary is a seasoned civil servant, who joined the Government of Pakistan in 1
985. His experience varies from fields of energy, finance, commerce, international
trade and public administration. Dagha holds post-graduate degrees in business administration, economics, law and commerce, making him suitable for the multifaceted assignments in his career.
